LSU made Saban. It's the LSU greatness that seeped into his pores and permeated his entire being that has made him successful at Alabama. Without his critical time that we graciously allowed and tolerated his presence at LSU he would be completely out of football. Maybe working as a carnie. Or that guy that works at the strip club that stands outside the door and tries to convince you that the dirty, dirty girls inside will blow you.

Tough for me to agree here. Saban is CONSIDERED above-average, because of all the cheating Bama dies. He was very average at LSU, and LSU was much, much better before he arrived there. I will say that you're right if you're implying that LSU ran him off because of his lack of success there and that LSU fans were glad he left and continue to be glad that his average arse is at Bama.

Agreed.

Texas A&M made Bear Bryant, too. Both men just needed better programs to take their success to the next level.
