Saban didn't just suddenly become a better coach when he arrived at Bama. So it's something else that made him win more. If you weren't wearing your Crimson glasses you would see that.

Agreed. You are completely sane, as shown by Saban's lack of success in recruiting and winning at LSU. I mean, it's not like his recruits won a natty there and contributed at some level to a second. If they had, then your posts would be a symptom of a victim mentality. Saban was a mid-tier talent as a coach at LSU, which is why he had to take an NFL head coaching job (no college would have wanted him!) before being matched up with a cheating mentality at Bama, which FINALLY lifted him above his well-known reputation as an average coach.

He obviously conned LSU and the NFL into thinking he was a good coach. Luckily, we have you, a poster on an Internet message board, to counter the opinions of unqualified dummies.

LSU made Saban. It's the LSU greatness that seeped into his pores and permeated his entire being that has made him successful at Alabama. Without his critical time that we graciously allowed and tolerated his presence at LSU he would be completely out of football. Maybe working as a carnie. Or that guy that works at the strip club that stands outside the door and tries to convince you that the dirty, dirty girls inside will blow you.

If he would have stayed at LSU eight more years he probably would have the same success . LSU would not have allowed any talent to leave the state under Saban, Bama would have wallowed with their usual hire, And the rest of the league would be status quo. More then likely Saban would have gotten a better job in the NFL and wouldn't have been a total failure like he was at Miami.

this is WAY over the top man. you do not know what you are talking about.

sorry if my post offended you but I can assure you that you took it the wrong way. Saban averaged 3 losses per year at LSU. after his NC he noticeably slacked off and the record proves it. but I also was an observer and you were not. he was not even on bama's radar at that time. I am not knocking him at all even tho you thin skinned gumps seem to think your god is above human feelings. I believe he had to leave LSU for the pros to realize his true place in the football universe. he had decent success at MSU and then won the natty at LSU. he was zooming up the ladder and the NFL was the next step up. he discovered that it wasn't his place and guess what, HE SAID SO HIS frickING OWNSELF.

but, believe what you want.
