Fact remains that blindsiding someone could lead to serious consequences for that person. Thankfully Hill is a weak baby back bitch who wouldn't fight someone unless it was a surprise attack.
Dude. You are talking about a starting RB in the NFL, for one. Secondly, do you not see that you are using flawed comparisons to JUSTIFY what happened here? The kids were idiots, they did in fact get caught in a car with stolen weapons and pot. There is an apparent error in police procedure. I just don't see the point in finger pointing to other players from other teams and saying "oh look he messed up worse than our guys". A large faction of your fanbase is ready to just wipe this clean because they aren't in "trouble". I think that speaks volumes about what could happen behind the scenes in a situation like this, and what you guys seem to be ok with, but you don't have to drag everyone that has ever gotten in trouble into it.
Personally, I am happy that these guys got off; the DA should use discretion when bringing charges on people. However, by saying what he said, he blatantly gave them preferential treatment for being football players. It's an inconsistent precedent that he now needs to follow if he wants to retain any amount of credibility.

Can you link me to your posts decrying Hill's slap on the wrist?
Otherwise you just look like a hypocrite.
