I'm going to go bold and pick Vanderbilt. They have a solid defense and a good RB and at least a pulse on offense. Everyone is putting them last in the East but I think they can realistically finish as high as 4th if they have decent QB play and a few lucky breaks. I've lost faith in Stoops at Kentucky, SC needs some recruiting cycles to recover their roster, and Mizzou is still a huge question mark on offense although I think their young QB has potential he's almost alone out there and needs some serious help from their OL and WRs.

They always seem to give us a good game but I still feel like UK has a better roster. I would think UK has a chance to do some work if they step up but you might be right.

Would not be surprised if Vanderbilt was bowl eligible.

I was going to say approximately the same thing. We lost a couple valuable players, but the overall strength of the defense should be up to last season's standards. We played several teams tough in losses, and with just a bit of extra experience, I think we have a decent chance of flipping the results this year. Plus, the expectations from the public and media are low enough that it wouldn't be overly difficult to exceed them.

Also, once again Prof proves that he's smarter than your average bear.
