You exactly right. You can't even explain it to people that were too young to remember those Florida teams. You knew you didn't have a chance. It's not like that with Saban's Bama teams. They are good don't get me wrong but when you had to play the Gators you were literally afraid how many points they would score

For lesser teams, perhaps.
