Hypothetical Future SEC Sporting Events - New Sports to consider.

What sorts of events would you guys like to see added to the SEC portfolio when it comes to maintaining our dominance in the collegiate sporting landscape?
I'm gonna focus on extremely non-traditional ideas to maybe catch the future landscape.
I would personally like to see E-sports added. Why? It's a very large emerging category with a ton of viewership online and much fewer drawbacks compared to something like football. It also would dovetail nicely with some of the technology programs. I'm not sure how much fun it would be to watch, but imagine Alabama and Auburn competing against each other in FPS tournaments or other computer/console games. I think that esports are a future necessity for colleges. With wider adoption of VR technology, this could become pretty amazing. Imagine ghost following your favorite player as they run through a game in full virtual reality. In 10 years or so this will be a major deal.
Another random thing that would be fun to watch, and would tie in academically... Robot fighting. I know, nerdy, but frick, having robots try to destroy each other while they are painted with school logos, that would be awesome.

Wrestling but there's a 0% chance any conference but the B1G dominate that sport

Pickup sticks would be cool. Maybe tiddlywinks.

Robot wars would be badass for sure. I loved watching battle bots. I grew up wrestling so I would like if the sec grew in that but it's not gonna happen.

Hell, let's have a natty for the conference with the best message board.
SEC would dominate that, too...judging by how many other conferences invade this board trying to fit in, be accepted by, and earn the respect of tSEC.

You could make a sport out of tying nooses and ole miss would still find a way to not win at it.

Competitive eating. Bert could moonlight as the Arkansas CE Coach.

You don't think we would have the athletes to dominate that eventually? All the great wrestlers don't just live in the Northeast. I think we could talk some California kids into coming to the southeast.
Also we already have a good program in the SEC to lead the charge.

Lingerie football.
State would be deadly in the trenches.

The best coaching is located in the B1G ( and the odd outlier such as OK st.). These guys are alumni of B1G schools, and are heavily associated with Olympic wrestling as well. They aren't going to up and leave what is by far the best conference in the sport. The best wrestlers aren't necessarily all located in the Northeast, but the majority are from the North.
The following for the sport just doesn't exist in the south for collegiate wrestling. Mizzou really aren't that close to being able to compete with PSU, OSU, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, or Michigan.

Something involving the victimization of sheep so aggy can win something.

We compete fine with them. Not like J'den Cox isn't wrecking havoc year after year.

Rugby. It is close enough to football that the SEC could quickly dominate.

For sure it will need to start at the bottom. More high school programs will equal more interest. I know it is getting started in Arkansas and is growing in Alabama.
Getting the top coaches would be impossible but who knows which assistants wouldn't be willing to be a head coach with no expectations. Surely we can get some money to compete. The highest paid coach is at a million. Of course we don't want to pay that at the moment but it is surely possible.
