It's very obvious that you never played the game. Aside from the fact that I follow all things "Alabama", I played some fast pitch softball when I was younger and realize what a helluva game it is. I guess it's like the folks who never played baseball past little league that believe baseball is boring....you just don't know what you're watching.

lol love the "obvious you never played" comment. Of course I never played it, I'm a male. I'd wager 98% of males have never played because we play baseball b/c we're capable of throwing a ball with a fluid motion.

like 20 feet basepaths. Non-stop chanting and cheering---Geezus christ. I'm pretty sure it's impossible to it a double or triple...that damn drag bunting they do...pitchers throw like 423 pitches per games then come back out the next night, too.

Some of ya'll seem butthurt like your manhood is being quesitoned---I just find it creepy the obsession/interest.

The only thing creepy here is your random melt over girls' softball, but carry on with your dude-bro self.

Pal, I played a ton of baseball into my 20s, and played fast pitch with a travel team after that. Most of the guys who played were x-college baseball players (Alabama, Ga. Tech, Southern Miss, Tulane, to name a few). Since you don't have a clue about what you're saying, I'll tell you this. It's twice as hard to hit a fast pitch softball as it is to hit a baseball...and I'd like to see you play 3rd or 1st base against a good offensive team. But don't believe me. Google Eddie Feigner (King and his court) and get yourself an education about fast pitch before you come on here and make an even bigger fool of yourself.

from an article: "In 1967, he faced, in order, Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, Brooks Robinson, Maury Wills, Harmon Killebrew and Roberto Clemente. He struck out all six."
