It's not a contradiction if you believe SC and Mizzou are that high on the list in large part due to their SEC East affiliation as well as Mizzou's prior conference affiliation. Those rankings actually further his argument.

They don't. A&M has been in the same conference as Mizzou for that entire timeframe.

Again, you can try to explain it away if you like but all there is to actually go on are the facts. What ifs are just that.

To further that point, it hasn't really been relevant when concerning team strength outside of the Big 6 because those teams don't win the SEC.

Again, the biggest difference has been Bama outpacing EVERYONE and UT dropping off the map for an extended period of time.
