I currently live in Mississippi and having lived in Diamondhead (Hancock County) I can tell you that I would much rather visit BSL or OS and live up in Madison. Much more to do, better place to raise a family, healthcare is 1,000x better, school system isn't even comparable and all at a fraction of the cost compared to when I lived in Chicago or St. Louis.

West Virginia as a state is beautiful country. Morgantown is alright.
