I'll take the Mountains over California any day. Mississippi is hit or miss for me.

What do you mean by Mountains? Arkansas type Mountains?Topanga Canyon is about 10 miles north of Santa Monica along Highway 1. You know that Yosemite National Park and Lake Tahoe are in Northern California, right?

Southern California native here.

You do realize there are huge mountain ranges that run from the Southern most border with Mexico up North into Oregon right?

The highest point in West Virginia is 4,863 ft. (Nearly 2,000 ft smaller than the highest peak in Tennessee fwiw) The highest peak in California is nearly over 14,500 ft...

CA mountains > Anywhere East of the Mississippi mountains
