We have to come to the realization that CGM's offense is truly effective (and almost only effective) with a true good offensive line. I know we (myself included) have made arguments that we can make this work with a bad oline and we are only kidding ourselves. But his Tulsa team...don't care, weaker conference and athletes. But Chad Slade...we didn't win. But he is an offensive guru...sure, with the proper oline.

Watch the game, or the highlights, and you will see what his offense can be with a true good oline. Every thing opens up. The play book, the running lanes, the receivers...all of it. It is high time we realize this. I see another so/so year with an oline that cannot make the defense commit to the zone read or at the very least move the pocket. It is what it is.

I FIFY. The biggest issue between 2013 and 2014 was the line play. shite saban teams aren't worth a hill of beans until he gets a dominant oline in.
