He can't throw the ball back to the pitcher without pausing/jerk motion. It's painful to watch.

Yeah, he has a hitch in his throw. But I've watched every UGA game this season and to my knowledge he hasn't ever had the yips (meaning he hasn't thrown a ball into the outfield or past the pitcher that I've seen). He more than justified his spot on that list with 11 HRs so far this season and nearly perfect defense (don't recall many if any passed balls this year).

I was 100% kidding with the initial yips comments. I figured anyone that had watched UGA would get the joke. I was not meaning to downplay the season Curry's had.

I will say as a side note, let's pretend Curry (just as an example) had hit .344/.430/.580 with 18 HR's. That's great and all that most people only look at those numbers...imagine he also allowed 16 passed balls (plus 6 passed balls ruled wild pitches) and only threw out 5% of would-be base stealers---well that's something to take into account in terms of "All-Conference." best at the position. And let's be clear, Fielding percentage is a complete joke.

As an Alabama fan, there are so many examples this year of our home games, where some infield hit is ruled an error that should be a hit just to help the team ERA. And conversely, so many "singles" we've had ruled a hit which should have been an error just to help our team batting average.
