Serious question. At what point does it all become not worth it? Is there a line in the sand, for most of you, where the program's reputation has been so tarnished that you just want to clean shop and be done with it all?

Realistically, Hugh will forever be known for cheating to everyone but OM fans, regardless of future achievements. I wasn't old enough to really have a strong opinion at the time, but I think there was probably a similar consensus over Sherrill among state fans. We loved him, but at the same time, to everyone else I'm sure he was looked at as dirty.

I've never said we don't cheat. Anyone that thinks we got Tunsil by honest means is high. Same with Greg Little

I don't think Freeze gets fired or anything but I am wondering about Bjork.

If he has 3 athletic programs on probation at once that doesn't look very good for an AD. Didn't Western Kentucky have a program or two go under probation with him there as well?

No I really don't give a shite.

Come those 12 weeks of the regular season I don't care how we beat someone I just want to win games. Does that make me a shitty person? Maybe. Idgaf.

Every other fan here is the same way though. There are very few people that would rather "run a clean program and lose than run a dirty program and win"

But at the same time it's not the end all be all to me. We cheated. We have appeared to have gotten caught. Now let's see what the NCAA Does and we will go from there. Does no good to melt or anything.

Boosters have always overlooked an HC's peccadillos — as long as the HC is winning — but lose badly to your in-state rival and all you hear is, "He was cheating. It's time for a change."

Every HC who has a 5* recruit on his team knows that athlete didn't sign with him because of the beautiful campus. Everyone cheats. Freeze and/or Ole Miss got caught, so we won't lose any sleep over it.

OTOH if Freeze is ever seen drunk in a strip club, next man up.

During Emory Bellard's last season, State fans were writing to their local newspapers accusing Bellard of being too honest to be a winning coach. When MSU hired Sherrill, every candidate who made the short list had previously been dismissed as an HC for recruiting violations. State even considered Collins of SMU fame.

Honesty is wonderful policy, as long your team isn't the conference doormat.
