Why do the tea sippers feel the need to come to a non-rival's conference board and preen themselves?

After all, we were told in the media by Deloss Dodds that TAMU was never a real rival for tu, and how us leaving the XII means we forfeited the privilege of playing them, and how playing us was never a big deal to them. This was after (according to Dr. Loftin's book) Dodds stood up and shook his finger at then AD Bill Byrne and then President Loftin and told them that tu would never ever play A&M again if we left for the SEC. We left, tu refused to schedule us, and we've moved on. I'm sorry they felt that way.

Arkansas has moved on. An Missouri has moved on.

So why are the 'sips here? To give the SEC fans a taste of why no one wants them?

At least most of the OU fans are pleasant folks.

I'm sure Texashorn is a 70 something year old man that grandma dropped off at the old man bar while she gets her hair done or runs errands this time of day. Anyone else notice that he "comes alive" about this time every day? I picture him sipping warm foamy beer out of a white styrofoam cup in a bar with brown paneling and carpet watching the LHN on an old dial tv, bragging to his other old man friends about how he's trolling the Aggies. In about an hour, grandma will come and pick him up and they'll go to Luby's for supper and split a LouAnn platter and be home before 6. And he'll be drunker than cooter brown.
