Ah, the vaunted Deke Houlgate system, that's one to rely on for MNC's, especially when Deke was out on a limb by his lonesome. AP gave the title to undefeated Minnesota, while ranking Bama #20 for getting shut out by Vandy and MSU.

The reason we finished second to Kentucky in 1950 is that they played 6 SEC games while we played 5, 5-1 vs. 4-1. Otherwise, we were 11-1, and outscored the opponents, 335-70.

As opposed to the vaunted Edward Litkenhous system that you use to claim 1967?
