It's pretty telling that everyone wants to focus on the fact that he smoked weed and recorded himself rather than the fact that he was exploited and apparently blackmailed.

What proof is there that he was blackmailed? I never saw that. Can you link so I can be better informed?

We are not giving a pass to the guy who put the film out there. We are simply saying he knew the risks and decided to do it anyway and he got caught.
