When his personal accounts were compromised by someone he did not give consent to access said accounts, he became a victim. I don't care what was on it.

Exactly. A similar scenario could happen to any one of us on a smaller scale, and we would all feel cheated. It's pretty telling that no one has responded to my hypothetical scenario earlier.
