Riddle me this - if they're fake, but you misspoke on national TV and said they were real and you took money, how long would it take you to come out and recant? How many national talk shows and Sportscenters need to lead with this story before you clarify your comments?
The story is on CNN, Yahoo!, CNBC, etc. Does that seem like something you would want across the country if it wasn't true?
No comment that it was fake. No comment that he misspoke. Nothing.
