You are a fricking idiot if you think hiring a lawyer is anything but a smart move. This isn't television, hiring a lawyer is recommended for any interaction of this kind 100% innocent or not
You also don't read shite since you missed the part that Auburn was the one that suggested the right to a lawyer to all coaches/staff to help then handle investigation

Any innocent person who isn't a total fricking moron gets a lawyer. No exceptions.
As for this story overall, I was pretty firmly in the "question everyone" camp, but now that Mark Murphy appears to be fully aligning with Hooks, I'm kind of persuaded by that. It's possible both of those dudes are too personally connected to people involved, but their opinions combined with Leath acting like a buffoon pushes me to the pro Bruce/Wiley side
