So, a former player cannot coach at his school?

What in the actual frick?

I don't get it. How did Steve Spurrier do it all those years at Florida?

There would be nothing to stop Muschamp from hiring Lattimore as a coach, but Lattimore has consistently said that he doesn’t think he would want to coach in college due to the time demands.

Yeah, that's what didn't make any sense. He's not a coach, but he is on the staff.

What is the unfair advantage? A former player working on staff at his school, but not a coach? How is that any different than a non-former player working on a team's staff and not a coach?

I don't get it. The "former player" angle is throwing me off.
