A state senator from Northwest Arkansas is calling for the Springdale police chief to be fired over the recent release of a 2006 police report detailing accusations that Josh Duggar as a teenager molested five underage girls.

Sen. Bart Hester, R-Cave Springs, said the girls have been re-victimized now that the report is public. He said Police Chief Kathy O’Kelley acted recklessly in releasing the report and should be held accountable.

“The law to protect minors’ identities is not a suggestion,” Hester, pictured, said Saturday (May 23). “So sad to see the person charged with protecting the community being so reckless and irresponsible. I believe it is unavoidable that the Springdale police chief should be terminated. She has re-victimized these young ladies.”

Springdale Mayor Doug Sprouse said O’Kelley and Springdale City Attorney Ernest Cate determined after researching the matter that the report had to be released under law.

“From every indication I have the chief and city attorney reluctantly did what they had to do to comply with the state FOI (freedom of information) law,” Sprouse said Saturday (May 23).

Old Bart is so worried about these minors being "re-victimized"... But he doesn't give a frick that his buddy Josh was the person who victimized them in the first place!

Also this" lawmaker" apparently doesn't understand the FOIA laws in Arkansas. That is the one area of the law where all public officials should be up to snuff

Between Bart flogging this shite in LR and Armani Ronnie pounding his fists from the Cash Church pulpit, this little gang of Duggar acolytes has quite the racket going

* Medical care for the aged, disabled, and the blind, covering 142,077 people. This includes the elderly in nursing homes and people with severe disabilities.

* ARKids, providing coverage for more than 400,000 low-income kids.

* Home and community-based services for 11,000 elderly people and people with severe physical disabilities.

* Medical services for nearly 5,000 foster children (the Division of Children and Family Services is not part of the relevant Medical Services appropriation, but medical care for many foster children is funded via the Medicaid budget).

* TEFRA, a Medicaid program that provides care to disabled children in their homes. Hester's game of chicken threatens funding to help families with children with severe health challenges such as cerebral palsy and wheelchair-bound children. (I am waiting on DHS to provide a precise number of families impacted.)

* Funding to help more than 60,000 elderly Medicare beneficiaries with care and costs not covered by Medicare.

* Coverage for thousands of extremely poor parents of dependent children.

* Coverage for more than 10,000 low-income pregnant women who are not otherwise covered by the private option.

* Closure of the 250-bed Arkansas Health Center, a public nursing home that takes patients that few or no other nursing homes will take, such as patients on a ventilator and patients with severe cognitive dysfunction.

* State hospitals that provide care for civilly committed patients having acute and severe behavioral health crises would lose 30 beds.

There is what Bart and his band of whack job tea partiers wants to kill

I hope he gets voted out next go around. I'll volunteer to canvas for whoever opposes him
