With Alabama's new found love for OOS enrollment, in-state students are getting denial letters while OOS students are getting acceptance letters, all about that paper.

Not really. Yes, Alabama turns a lot of in-state kids away just simply because most every kid sends an application to Tuscaloosa, even if they don't have the grades.

But if you have decent grades, its not difficult to get accepted to Alabama. While Alabama shows a lower acceptance rate compared to Auburn, I know plenty of Auburn graduates who've had to watch their kids enroll at Alabama simply because their kids didn't have the grades to get into Auburn, but were accepted into Alabama.

Alabama is not turning down any quality in-state kids in favor of out of state kids. If you have semi-decent grades, you can enroll at Alabama.

My sister, and a few of my friends got into Alabama with some awful test scores. They admitted her last year and her SAT, at the time, was under 1000 for a 3 score. C'mon Bama... we know you want the money. A few schools should be doing this, I just have to poke fun at that

She raised her score and is going to UF. Probably that admissions letter bumped her rating up to a 4 star or something.
