the truth is Alabama can afford to lose one game and make the playoffs (except possibly the SECCG). Ole Miss did Alabama a favor (one of several) last year by winning. The loss brought focus to the team.

obviously not, when it comes to the big picture for Bama...but the OP was about how all the pieces are in place for the Crimson Tide his year, so in that light, it is a question I very much would be curious to hear the answer to. personally, I believe Ole Miss will handle Alabama in Oxford this season.
