It isn't a fair comparison because the sports are so different, but the oft compared football version of Cal, Nick Saban, has 4 national championships in 9 years.

Nobody is suggesting they'd ever get rid of Cal.

Tubby went 263-83, 120-40 in the SEC, won the national title in 1998 (his first year). He went to 3 Elite 8's but his last 2 seasons they went 22-13 (9-7) and 22-12 (9-7) and lost in the 2nd round.
