I think that talent superiority gets you much farther in football than basketball. Just because you are good doesn't mean you are even getting to the second round of the tournament i.e. Michigan State.

I would think Cal would be the biggest supporter of basketball going to a baseball like draft system. Guys like Lebron shouldn't have to wait. And if they aren't ready to go straight out of high school, then they should spend 2-3 years on campus.

Seriously? Look at the NBA. The same players win the finals every year. You generally have zero chance at winning an NBA title unless you have one of the 5 best players in the league.

The one and done means UK is all in, the problem is when you go up against a team with jr and sr talent that makes it tough. The mid majors love the one and done rule. It's great for them at least early in tournament.

Same thing with baseball, roster limits brought parity to the game. The bigger schools couldn't hedge on who goes pro out of school and they miss out on some of the other prospects because of the 35 man roster limit.

I disagree, it take's 3 years of recruiting minimum to build a football team, 1 or 2 good classes can make a basketball team even if you started with nothing.
