LSU baseball has won 1 national championship in the last 10 years. Kentucky basketball has won 1 national championship in the last 10 years. Alabama football has won 4 national championships in the last 10 years.

Much more difficult for the best team to win a national championship in baseball or basketball. Often times, the best team doesn't win (see Michigan St. This year, Kentucky last year).

Football, on the other hand, usually gets is right.

I will say that 2002-2016 LSU baseball is not the same as 1990-2002 LSU baseball.
