I'd take Joe Adams, Hamilton, Childs pre-injury, and Wright all before Morgan. Morgan is a rock-steady option, but he's not going to hit the home runs Childs/Adams/Hamilton/Wright did.

If home run ability is what you hold in the highest regard for WRs then I'm assuming you think Duwop, Hawkins and Reed should be our starting X, Y and Z receivers.

The only one of the guys you mentioned to ever match Morgan's TD numbers was Wright in his senior year with a 3rd round QB and an offensive genius at head coach and when he was far and away the #1 WR in a much more pass happy offense than we have been since it happened.

And saying you'd take Child's pre-injury is like saying you'd take fricking AJ Green. Obviously you would if you could, but he's not AJ Green. I'd take Korliss Marshall pre-idiocy over any RB we have, but he's still an idiot so I can't. Childs has proven multiple times that his knees are held together with scotch tape and his body can't handle consistent contact. How many times did Drew Morgan catch a 30 yard pass, take a big hit, then go get his shoulder popped back in on the sideline and then be back on the field for the next play? Now honestly try and picture Childs ever doing that. If you can see it then I'd like to know what narcotics you're on. And there's a reason Adams had more return TDs than receiving TDs as a senior. Because he was never anything more than an athlete. He wasn't half the WR that Wright was.

I'll take Morgan's toughness and consistency over Adams' brick hands and Childs' glass body. Especially on this offense where WRs block. Hamilton and Wright have legit arguments, but are not clearly better IMO. We're really fricking lucky to have Morgan right now.

Hatcher is a better blocker than all of them. He and Morgan are going to make a great combo this year when we go with 2 WR formations.
