The court itself needs to be re-designed. It's ok in its'' own but it's not creative enough. I would change all the seats in the arena to clean, smooth, padded versions. Why not color coordinte seats in a black, white, red, pattern instead of just solid red? The scoreboard is ancient (I think it's in the plans to be replacec or upgraded). The entrance is ok. The box offices need to be updated. Getting tickets from will call reminds me of purchasing tickets from a drive in movie theater. The bathroom fixtures still suck. Most of the fixtures are as cheap as you can possibly put in a commercial setting. Our locker rooms (last time I visited was in 02) which have been updated in the last 10 years are still sub par. There's currently no players lounge to my recollection. When you look up and see the concrete framing of the Steg, it really screams "frick I'm old". There has to be a way to cover that shite up. Maybe some type of massive vinyl banner with the "G" emblem extending from one side of the arenal to the other, hiding the framing. Let's get some more historic (large photos) of some of the all time great and spread them around the interior walls of the arena. Why not a fancy signature of a former great Dawg football/basketball/whoever naming the court after them? Just some thoughts.

They redid the bathrooms and did some stuff to the locker rooms before the 96 Olympics.

They need to do more to get students there... Yes winning solves, that to an extent, but in the mean time...
