This cannot be stated enough.
You put your weekend starter in to close a mid-week game while our mid-week starter shut your team down for 8 innings.
We were the highest-ranked and highest-rated opponent you will face all season and you choked on the false hope we gave you.
I don't think you understand that we spotted you those four runs so we could rip your heart out and feast on your tears just one batter later.
