He wanted to go to Ole Miss so bad. Kid is a big, fast athlete. I wonder why no offer from the Rebs?

Freeze did say after we took 3 TEs in 16 we wouldn't take any in the 17 class. Besides that I have no idea.

Chase is a hell of an athlete. He was waiting and waiting for that ole miss offer. His mom told me yesterday before it became official he was Tennessee bound. Said he loved the facilities and everything they're doing there. Said they felt led on by ole miss. I asked if we offer will he flip she said no way.

Well UT was his first big time offer (I believe). So he may have just been hungry for any SEC offer, not just necessarily Ole Miss

Two players from that HS have walked on to Ole Miss in recent years (a qb and an OL). Maybe he went up there to visit them and liked the school plus an offense that lends itself to lots of passes to the TE (see Evan Engram)? But as stated above Ole Miss will likely not take a TE this cycle. As far as I know Miss State hasn't shown a lot of interest. Tenn is a good landing spot and is trending up.

Chase father played for ole miss. His whole family is big ole miss fans. I believe chase father and Tom luke played together. I personally believe we could flip him but his mom told me last night that he was solid and may not take his 5 visits. Btw his mom is hot.
