Verne Lundquist talks about the great TAMU 12th Man tradition and the hero that E. King Gill was, understand it is a fairy tale that has been highly embellished by the university to misrepresent the true story. Gill was no hero whatsoever until the fictionalized 1939 radio play and when the TAMU administrators have been representing otherwise, they have known they are being intentionally dishonest.

You will find most of the great "traditions" of TAMU don't come close to the reality of what actually happened. Fabricating their school's history is one of TAMU's most cherished terditions.

And there isn't a single goddamn thing you can do about it. Besides, only one of our two schools has been charged by the state with fraudulent use of state funds before. Hint: It wasn't A&M.

Now please get help Mr. Satterfield, you're one life stressor away from being the next Charles Whitman.
