No I don't think the school is responsible for taking care of players parents. I do think a stipend or some form of reimbursement beyond a scholarship is warranted.

If you ask me to choose between the big arse video board or paying players, I'll choose players every time.

do you feel that minor league baseball players should get paid more than they do? They average around 25 to 30k a year. How much do you think a full ride college scholarship, housing, nutritionists and top notch personal trainers would go for in a year? Plus they do get stipends, that is how most of them drive around fancy cars under the rules of the NCAA. They get housing allowances that are large, food cards and then a small amount of cash I believe.
