Unsure why people get upset if a school claims championships or not. It is just fill, does not really make a whole lot of difference in the world. I mean, really at the end of the day in 2016, does it really matter who won the NCAA football championship in 1973?
The game does provide good memories for fans on both sides, which is all it should do anyway, right? It is entertainment, nothing more, nothing less.

Why would you want to claim a championship that is not yours? It is hollow.
What makes one school try to take undeserved glory from another?
