Dylan Moses is currently on LSU’s campus for an official visit, according to a source close to the Tigers’ program.

That’s certainly a big development in his recruitment because LSU was thought to be the favorite to land his commitment before he chose Alabama. The main reason why Moses chose Alabama is because LSU fired Les Miles. Now that the Tigers have their staff in place, it’s a stable enough program for Moses to perhaps flip his commitment.

The Baton Rouge, La. native said at the time of his commitment that he would not take visits elsewhere, but he’s taken at least three trips to LSU since that time. It’s the only other school other than Alabama that he’s visited.

Moses has outwardly expressed his love for Alabama since his commitment, but he’s always been an LSU fan. He’s said that it would be great to see LSU win a national championship. After all, before transferring to IMG Academy for his senior season, his high school in Baton Rouge, University Lab, was located on LSU’s campus.

The Under Armour All-American originally committed to LSU in 2013 after receiving an offer from the in-state school in his eighth-grade year, but he ultimately backed off his pledge to the Tigers so he can take full advantage of his recruitment. Alabama, LSU and Texas were always the major players in his recruitment, and it was likely he was going to sign with one of those national powerhouses.

With the dead period going into effect Sunday at midnight and Moses being an early enrollee, this will be the last time he takes an official visit to any school before starting college this January.

A source close to Alabama tells SEC Country that Moses did notify the staff prior to taking an official visit to LSU, so this doesn’t come as a surprise to the Tide.

Stay tuned to SEC Country this weekend as LSU will definitely try to flip the 5-star from its rival.

Well that throws the LSU fan's narrative of Moses "sneaking" into this visit out the window.
