It definitely happened. They were only issuing tickets as far as I'm aware, though. Not sure what they were doing for bars failing to enforce IDing, but those were the real targets.

Making sure bars were following code. Ringing up drinks, sober bartenders, proper id checking, etc. Killed two birds with one stone by id'ing everyone once they were in the bar though.
