I'm not leaving ... you wanna try to make me leave Tbird? Meet me at whatever Sonic you choose ... just give me time to get there.

#NCAAsoblack #NFLsoblack #NBAsoblack #OSCARSsowhite ... but they tryin' to make it #soblack.

We're all racists to some degree Tbird ... even you. Especially you obviously. Because you are the one playing the race card ... whereas I honestly do not see race IRL, in my everyday life. The only time I see it is when it keeps being played every fricking day of our lives ... non-stop, for political purposes.

The issue here is balance, yin and yang. It's outta whack. It's probably not going to end well over the long run.

So you believe the Constitution, which expressly grants rights to the states ... should be removed and re-written as well I must assume.

quote:

The US Constitution does NOT serve merely to grant rights or powers--IT LIMITS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S AUTHORITY--by defining its powers--PERIOD.

This very distinction is the crux of the problems in America's government!
We effectively allow ourselves to worship the government and it's papers--by the words we use! We teach our children that our rights are granted by the grace of government.

Most American citizens even believe the fundamental rights are granted to them by the Constitution. We have those rights--inherently--the Constitution prohibits these rights be violated by the government.

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." The Tenth Amendment to The Constitution of The United States.

Simply, only the powers outlined in the US Constitution are given to the Federal government--ALL other powers are RESERVED TO the "States respectively, or to the people."

As such, the individual States of America are sovereign and have inherent rights. The States' actions in signing into the Constitution, the agreement, served to grant powers and authorities to the Federal government, not the other way around.

The Constitution is ONLY the source of powers or authority as outlined--NO MORE. It's purpose is to limit government's authority and forbid violation of our inherent rights--period!

I remember Carolina_Girl mentioning you guys were going to have a tailgate get-together for the A&M/SC game next season in Columbia and Tbird was invited. That's going to be awkward as frick because if I was Tbird, I'd want to punch you right in the fricking face.
