clint wasn't the only qb that was in that class. and i don't remember anyone complaining about taking him as a backup qb. hindsight is nice, but i don't think anyone thought at the time that newton would be a one & done and rollison wouldn't be able to pull his head out of his arse. not to mention gus had one entire month to recruit at auburn before nsd.

Because we didn't add a second QB despite knowing for 10+ months that Tyler Queen had a major shoulder injury.

The guy we tried to rope in was Deondre Francois who just had an average arm

2017 we target Tray Bishop

So in Gus' first 4 full classes, 4/5 QBs we are looking to bring in don't have big arms or have injured arms
