Could not agree more.
The only thing holding us back is QB development. If we saw some promise from that position, I doubt anyone would have a gripe about recruiting.
Hard to find another team who has recruited for need any better, QB excluded TO THIS POINT!
I am willing to give Gus one more year at a minimum, likely two, and see what Barrett (Nacisse) and especially Gatewood can do.
Gatewood is the Gus version of an Eason. He is beyond perfect for this offense.

Gatewood is a really long way away from seeing the field. Even if he's the second coming of Cam Newton, we have a lot of waiting to do. In the meantime, we have several seasons to play and Gus is going to have to produce a capable QB to tread water long enough to even see that kid step foot on campus.
That said, I think Barrett and Franklin both have the potential to run our system well. I don't think Franklin will start the season and I would be surprised if Woody sniffed the 3-deep this year.
Sean White looks good but I'm not sure Gus can adequately use him. And before Chris Todd is mentioned, I'll just point out that Todd feasted on lesser/non-SEC opponents (15 of his (22) TDs were against non SEC opponents, 9 of which were against ball state and Furman).
