I can't tell if you're being serious?

The Catholic Church is a Christian church and the core belief of a Catholic is Christianity

They're technically Christian. But let's be honest, we're Catholics first, Christians a distant second

I can only speak from my own experiences, but as someone who's family was Catholic and now is Protestant, to insinuate the two are the same in today's world is a head scratcher. Most the people I went to seminary with don't even believe Catholics are going to heaven. Most I go to church with today still don't. Maybe you've had a different experience.

I don't understand it either- Catholic is of course Christian and I don't know any Catholic who doesn't consider us Christian.

As far as the heaven thing goes- I sure hope it's a mixed bag of folks up there. I can't think of a worse opinion for a religion or someone who considers them religious than to think they are the only ones bound for heaven. Of course I don't really get the saved thing either.
