I don't even think Demetris is running his recruitment. In the 247 post about the family going back to see notre dame, its his brother talking about how he wants to see the campus. Not once does he talk about what Demetris thinks. I think he is to involved in the kids recruitment, let the man make a decision he's the football player not Carlos.

Certainly not getting my hopes up, but that sounded awfully positive for us. If you didn't hear Kirby's press conference today, he mentions doing extensive research on all the guys he played with that didn't make the NFL and where they are now showing their successes. Sounds like Kirby gave them his best shot. Sure would be nice getting Drob.

My question about this whole thing is what the heck were they doing all of these years? It seems all of his recruiting has taken place over the past 4-6 months. Just a really odd way to go about it all to me. To each their own though..let's hope one of these days he picks the Dawgs.

I can see it both ways. high School kids might make a decision based on girls, or feelings etc. A more mature eye is not a bad thing to have in making a big decision like this. AND, Carlos does seem to be making academics an important factor, and that is not a bad thing either. If Demetrius gets hurt, he will be glad he went to a good academic school.

However, the kids likes and dislikes need to be considered, too. It's a delicate balance.
