The narrative about Ole Miss being racist worked for a long time and killed us for over three decades. The funny thing now is that when other schools try to use it negatively against Ole Miss, it backfires and actually helps OM whenever a recruit actually visits campus and realizes not only how welcome he is, but also how the other school tried to mislead him.
