Again it is probably a mistake to base it off of one year. Overall violent crime has been dropping since the early 90's.
Gun advocates used 2014 data as proof guns were not the issue.
Should anti-gun people try to argue the last year was an argument for gun control?
Now if a trend develops that is different. But there is no trend line except last year where violent crime has risen.
