I haven't met very many if any people who hold any sort of animosity towards Shula. Most of us wanted him fired, but I don't know anyone who "hates" him or even dislikes him.
Price and Fran? Yes. Shula? Not at all.

no, he didn't ... a sizable percentage of bama fans are just simply shitheads ... they bash shula for bad play calling or blame him for prothro's injury ... they also bash former players because the player didn't lead bama to a national title (spencer pennington, who was a 3rd string qb) ... it's "did you win a title" instead of "did you play for bama?" ... they're not fans of alabama ... they're fans of the current flavor ... announcers are giving shula credit and the op doesn't like it ...
it is what it is ...
