Really, what could a booster do? Go to some authority saying that some high school kid took the given car to a different university other than the one he said he would go to? The SWC in the early 80s... the gall of all of the programs to so OPENLY do their thing.
Dickerson probably DID take a paycut when he got to the NFL.
