We have so many teams, the perm crossover really restricts the other teams you get to play.

It really would. Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee would be in the same division, ending that argument forever.

This will need to happen eventually.
West:
Tamu, Mizz, MSU, Ole Miss, Arky, LSU, UK
East:
Bama, Auburn, Vandy, Tenn, Georgia, Florida, SCAR
Makes the most sense from a rivalry standpoint. Aubbie, Bulldogs, Tide and Vols all play every year with no need for permanent cross division rivals. Not too bad from a geography standpoint either.
