We can't match up well against Simmons (who can?) and he will have a monster night. I think he goes for 40 and 20. LSU wins this one by about 10. If we somehow won this one, it would be big for us momentum-wise.

Simmons will get his numbers (just like Moody will get his). The question is which of the supporting casts will step up. LSU had 3 guys get double/doubles against UK. That led to a blowout of the Cats. The next game against Florida Simmons had virtually no help. There was a point where he was literally LSU's only option on offense and the only person scoring. LSU was so reliant on him that he pressed, which led to 8 turnovers.

40 and 20 would be great. But in reality, I don't think Simmons really wants to get those kind of numbers. He's smart enough to know that if he is, it likely means no one else for LSU is doing anything. Much like Lebron in his younger days, Simmons would prefer to get everyone involved. He'll only try to take over when it is clear that none of his teammates are providing any help.

He's still an impossible matchup though. Truly a guy that can play and defend all 5 positions
