Nebraska in '70s, '90s

They were very good in the early 70's (that '71 team was one of the best ever) but Bama's run in the 70's was better than Nebraska's overall. No argument 'bout the 90's though, they were dominant...

Don't know where you're gettin' the 50's from as ND didn't win a single title in that decade. 40's and 70's though, no argument, especially the 40's. Bama joined the ND teams of the 40's as the only teams to win 4 championships in 7 years...

Miami '00s

Made two championship games, but only 1 title...however their run which you didn't list, from '83 thru '91 (4 titles), was impressive...

Ole Miss, late '50s/early '60s

Very strong teams, but no poll titles...that '59 team would've gone down as one of the best ever, but Cannon's punt return on Halloween night cost 'em a title...and the '60 team got robbed in the polls by Minnesota...and the '62 team had a good argument as well...

Ohio State late 60s, 00s

They were very good from '68 to the mid-70's, but only one poll title ('68)...
