I have always liked when ESPN would use all of their channels to give viewers a choice in how they would like to watch a game. I spent the majority of the game on the SECN with Bert and McIlroy and Booger. For kicks it was fun to see Michelle Beadle and Teddy Atlas (?!) and crew blabbing about most anything BUT the game. Atlas was really the only one trying to bring them all back to the game on the TV but they all seemed pretty bored with it by the middle of the 3rd quarter.

Still - loved the insight and commentary that Bert and McIlroy provided. They each had unique perspective, especially into the Bama program and mindset - one being a former player for Saban and the other who had to try and gameplan against him the last 3 years. Also, a highlight was Paaaawwwll calling him "Uncle Bert" to his face and him laughing.

Just curious if anyone else watched anything other than Fowler and Herbie.

ESPN2 was great with mUSCHamp and the guy in the pink shirt with the butter teeth.

The fact that the SEC network was a few seconds behind made it better. You could watch the play on ESPN then switch over and get their reaction as they watched it. I wish the coaches were like that because what they said was more insightful. Bert was good but i liked having more coaches and less finebaum and callers.

I watched Sounds of the Game.

No commentary, just stadium sounds.

I had the two TV set up going with the main broadcast on one and the Finebaum film room on the other. I recorded the "Homer broadcast" with Barrett Jones and Tahj Boyd. I didn't watch the whole thing, bust fast forwarding to hear their commentary/reaction/trash talk after every big/scoring play was a lot of fun.

Bert

Pawl was nonexistent for all but the last 4 minutes of the second half. Bert was entertaining.

SECN.

Thought Bret did well, but the more I hear Greg, the more impressed I am by him.
