I definitely think this will be the case. It wouldn't surprise me if the difference between the #1 and #2 class in 2017 is less than a couple of points. We have the #1 RB committed and lead for the #1 outside linebacker. I also wouldn't be surprised if our qb receives a nice bump in the rankings. Some recruiting outlets have said that they think he is the best quarterback in the class.

I obviously haven't looked too much at who Bama is looking at but I'm sure they will be pulling in studs. I just know OSU is in on, and in many cases leading, for a lot of really good players

Predicting where 2017 guys will go right now is ridiculous. I would be willing to bet more than half of guys go to schools other than their "leaders" a year out. Now it certainly helps to be in the minds of the recruits, but so much changes that it really means nothing till around August or September.
