Most of the time it agitates me too, but when people like Bowie or Freddie Mercury or similar people die, those are legends. Pioneers. I'll feel the same way when someone like Elton John or someone similar dies. I'm sure that I would have felt that way if I was alive when Buddy Holly died.

I was definitely agitated when somelike like Amy Winehouse dominated the headlines.

Just look around the internet and look at all the positive comments from artists across all genres on Bowie's death. His music wasn't for everyone, but he touched a LOT of lives in the artistic world, and by all accounts he was a good human being.


He also kept his illness under wraps and made one last album to say goodbye, in true Bowie fashion. So I think the unexpectedness of his death has ramped up the reactions.

She was one of the most talented singers in her generation. I'm sure most would disagree with her lifestyle, but you can't deny she was a great artist.
